West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Ltd. (WIL Division), a Government of West Bengal Undertaking, is the IT & Electronics Education and Training arm of West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation (Webel). WIL Division is one of the very few organizations in India, imparting education and training for more than two decades.

Since 1992, WIL Division has produced around 18000 industry ready professionals every year from its own classrooms and authorized training centres established at more than 127 locations throughout the entire state of West Bengal. We have imparted training to more than 7500 nos. of participants from around 35 nos. of Government and PSU Clients, including CM Secretariat.

WIL Division conducts Diploma and Certificate courses in Software, Hardware with Networking and Multimedia courses, besides a host of other Basic and Advanced IT courses. Special emphasis is given while training College Students to make them ready for professional placement on graduation.

WIL Division is the CISCO Networking Academy and provides training for CISCO certified Network Associate (CCNA). WIL Division is RedHat Training Partner with Red Hat Authorized Exam Center at its premises. WIL Division conducts training of RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE), RedHat Certified Security Specialist (RHCSS), Redhat Storage and RedHat OpenStack could platform for individuals and corporate clients. WIL Division also conducts customized training programmes as per the requirement of clients/students.

WIL Division is one of the major player imparting training to the beneficiaries of Government sponsored skill development programs viz. skill development for unemployed Registered Job seekers in association with Directorate of Employment, Department of Labour since 2007, skill development of unemployed youths under municipality area in association with State Urban Development Authority since 2013, skill development of minorities through Minorities Finance Development corporation etc. In all our courses we include soft skill development curriculum.

Beside Training and Education activities WIL Division is also engaged in (i) Supply and Maintenance of IT H/W and S/W, (ii) Software Development including web portal design and hosting, (iii) System integration activities and providing solution to different government and semi-government organizations.

WIL Division is engaged as a consultant organization by School Education Department to implement and monitor ICT@School project in 7591 schools.
